Giovanni (Gio) Munoz is the Managing Director of Foley and brings over 20 years of experience in business development, media, marketing, financial services, and international trade. Known for his collaborative approach and cross-sector expertise, Gio has supported a wide range of clients from U.S. state governments and Canadian agencies to private companies and European trade bodies in successfully entering and expanding in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
He holds a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Sydney, with a focus on neuro and cardiovascular pharmacology. Prior to joining Foley, Gio spent a significant part of his career in the superannuation sector, working with one of the largest pension funds in the world. This experience gave him deep insight into institutional investment, regulatory frameworks, and stakeholder engagement at both domestic and global levels.
