Zurcom International (Pty) Ltd. is the contracted representative for nine U.S. state governments in Africa and six U.S. states in the Caribbean. The African office was established in 1999 and the Caribbean office in 2021. Zurcom International also represents all 50 U.S.state government departments of agriculture in Africa through the four multi-state trade associations for that purpose (SUSTA, WUSATA, Food Export USA Northeast and Food Export Midwest USA). Zurcom International has vast experience supporting European, Asian, and South American firms entering emerging markets.
Zurcom International has worked with over 4,000 different company projects in relation to international trade entering Africa and the Caribbean. The company has staff in South Africa, Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Tunisia, Zambia and Zimbabwe covering Africa. Zurcom Internatoinal also has starr in eight countries in the Caribbean in partnership with Gedeth Network, another IBG Global member.
Richard Zurba came to Africa in 1993, working in the D. R. Congo for World Vision Relief. He moved to South Africa in 1996 as an export manager for a South African firm selling into 20 African countries. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts from Alberta ( International Relations), a Master of Arts from London School of Economics, (International History) and an M.B.A. from Western Ontario (International Business).
